About Roman Vinfield

The year 2020 brought a move to WeShield, which a group of entrepreneurs had founded to supply aid to frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Roman Vinfield first held the title of Chief Revenue Officer and later became Chief Executive Officer. While he was with the company, WeShield earned a No. 53 ranking on the Inc. 5000 list.

In January 2023, he joined a roundtable discussion in Davos, Switzerland, focused on support for Ukraine during the Russian invasion, a session WeShield helped to lead. His remarks addressed how Ukraine’s economic recovery relates to the outcome of the war and how disruption to Ukraine’s exports is felt around the world. He also pointed to the organization’s partnership with the mayor of Kyiv and the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America to donate medical supplies.

That same year marked the beginning of his leadership of BrainChain.AI. Since 2023, Roman Vintfeld has served as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. BrainChain.AI uses artificial intelligence and machine learning in supply chain management and logistics, with stated aims of reducing supply chain disruption, raising efficiency, and helping companies deliver commodities to global brands and governments. The work carries forward the attention to AI and machine learning that defined his years in lending and sales, this time directed at the movement of goods.

Running alongside these business roles has been a sustained commitment to humanitarian work. Roman Vintfeld is a co-founder of Worldwide Friends, a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) emergency response organization that delivers aid to people affected by international conflicts. Together with his wife, Danielle Vintfeld, he also co-founded Ukraine Friends, a humanitarian mission that operates under the Worldwide Friends 501(c)(3). The mission draws several organizations together to deliver aid and equipment, provide evacuation services, and offer ambulance support to the people of Ukraine in response to Russian aggression.

The organization reports that the Ukraine Friends mission has delivered more than 30,000 individual first aid kits, more than 50,000 wound kits, more than 10,000 children’s travel and hygiene kits, 1,200 train kits, more than 60 mobile surgery kits, and 23 ambulances. The mission has also housed more than 10,000 refugees, and its efforts have supported the evacuation of more than 30,000 people since the war began.

Worldwide Friends has also extended its work to Israel. During its first two weeks, the Israel Friends initiative raised $6.4 million for the Israeli people and provided 240,000 pounds of aid, among it more than 10,000 bulletproof kits.

Throughout these years, Roman Vintfeld has also offered commentary through his X, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Medium profiles. Topics have included AI in advanced manufacturing, automation in logistics, supply chain resilience and application uptime, and digital transformation, along with leadership questions such as how to balance compassion with accountability on a team. Authority Magazine interviewed him for its series on creating a culture of courage, which looked at how authenticity in the workplace benefits both people and profits.

Today, Roman Vintfeld is the Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Powerus. His academic background is a bachelor’s degree in business from Baruch College of the City University of New York.

Across each stage, his leadership has rested on a single conviction: anyone can make a difference by becoming involved with something they care about. He seeks out and develops team members who work in that spirit and gives them the support they need to become autonomous as quickly as possible. The same approach guides his executive roles and his humanitarian work, both of which have centered on helping others and on helping people reach their full professional potential.
